What the flush is costing.
Enter the bowls, how often they are used, and the combined water and wastewater price you actually pay. The result is the drinking water a flush urinal would have sent to the sewer.
Avoided each year
Payback is not shown. It also depends on the installed cost of the bowls and the traps. URIMAT cites under two years only for busy sites.
How the numbers are made. Litres = urinals × uses per day × litres per flush × days. Cost = litres ÷ 1,000 × your price. CO₂ kilograms = cubic metres × 0.35, which is URIMAT’s published 350 g per cubic metre.
The button sets 137 uses a day, 2 litres and 365 days. That is 100,010 litres per urinal, in line with URIMAT’s “at least 100,000 litres” example. Your count of urinals stays as you left it.
